AMERICAS COUNCIL FOR THE CREATIVE ECONOMY

Americas Council for the Creative Economy (ACCE) is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to develop 21st century occupational skills for youth (16 – 24) from historically disadvantaged communities. Typically, these youth, many of whom have inherent skills in the creative arts, are not working or studying and lack connections to society’s major social structures.

About us

ACCE operates in a strategic partnership with “Fundacion CA”, non-profit corporation, which was founded by Carlos Arguello and has trained and developed over two thousand disadvantaged youth in Caribbean, Central & South America and Mexico in partnership with The World Bank, USAID and OAS.

ACCE’s Managing Director

ACCE’s Managing Director, Mark Marion, is a Social Entrepreneur and a highly experienced tech sector executive with 35+ years of extensive experience in sales, business development, development of partner ecosystems and business management of enterprise solutions. In addition, he has demonstrated the ability to accelerate growth and optimize the bottom line through innovation and disciplined execution in companies such as US Treasury Department, McKesson Corp, AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent Technologies, and Microsoft.

Carlos Arguello

ACCE’s Creative Director

ACCE’s Creative Director, Carlos Arguello, is an award winning Hollywood Producer/Director who has been a major contributor to films such as Shrek, Shrek2, Chronicles of Narnia, Armageddon, Space Jam, Fast and Furious, and Michael Jackson videos……. Currently he is a contributor to Netflix, Time Warner/HBO and Sony Pictures in the America’s Region and has been commissioned to produce a series of long feature 3D animated films. His status as a Hollywood Producer/Director allows ACCE to offer “training connected to work” for those students who excel in the curriculum.
